20th Maine, 15th Alabama Civil War Reenactment and Bucksport Bay Festival (Fort Knox State Park) Held in conjunction with the Bucksport Chamber of Commerce Bucksport Bay Festival. The Civil War Weekend will include representatives from the 20th Maine. The event will feature skirmishes, cannon firings, living history demos, lectures, and camp life. Truck, Tractor and Commercial Vehicle Meet (Owl's Head Transportation Museum, Owl's Head; 9 AM-3 PM) OHTM becomes the center of the universe for antique truck, tractor and commercial vehicle enthusiasts during one of our most popular events of the summer. Antique ground vehicles, including a bevy of pre-1920 trucks from the Museum's collection, are demonstrated alongside exciting driving demonstrations that show off some of the large commercial trucks on display at the event. A fabulous antique aeroplane show generates plenty of additional excitement! Assorted kids activities and Model T rides ensure that there is plenty of fun for the whole family at this event. Maine Lobster Ride (Meet at Camden Snow Bowl, Camden; Registration Opens at 6:30 AM) The Bicycle Coalition of Maine's Lobster Ride & Roll follows winding, country lanes and the breathtaking rockbound coast past lighthouses, lupines and lobster boats.  The ride features five distance options, from a family-friendly 15 miles to a century that was recognized by Bicycling Magazine as one of the Top Ten centuries in the country. Northport Yacht Club Sailing School (NYC Clubhouse; Registration at 9 AM) Weekly program offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings throughout the summer. All children 9 and older may participate for a week or for the whole summer. Swimming test is required for new students. Report to the NYC Clubhouse by 9 AM Monday, with a personal flotation device if you have one.
