Union Fair (Union Fairgrounds, Union) Classic, rural fair (one of the oldest in Maine), celebrating all aspects of agriculture, including a wild blueberry festival. Events include harness racing; old fashioned pig scramble; wild blueberry pie baking and eating contests; horse, oxen, and tractor pulls; fireworks; sheep shearing contest; 4-H exhibits; carnival; entertainment; and more. Belfast Summer Nights Concert Series (Steamboat Landing, Belfast; 5:30-7:30 PM) This week: Mr. Moon and Leaky Boot Jug Band. Come hear free music on the waterfront in Belfast. Bring your chairs, picnic and children. Please, no dogs in concert area. As always, free.

Barnstormers Ball (Owl’s Head Transportation Museum, Owl’s Head; 6 PM) For the museum’s third annual evening fundraising gala, don your finest 1920s-inspired evening wear and dance the night away at OHTM! In 2015 more than 200 people enjoyed live music, fabulous food and libations set amid our world-class collection of ground vehicles and aircraft. The winner of our 2016 raffle vehicle will be drawn. Tickets will be available in advance, and a limited number will be offered. All proceeds benefit Museum programs. For more information, visit www.owlshead.org.

Camden Windjammer Festival (Camden Harbor) The fleet gathers in picturesque Camden Harbor for festivities reminiscent of the days when hundreds of coastal schooners lined the waterfront. Festivities include a parade of sail, flag-raising ceremonies, live music, dancing and fireworks. Raft-Up! For more information, visit www.camdenwindjammerfestival.com/.

Vintage Motorcycle Meet (Owl's Head Transportation Museum, Owl's Head; 9 AM-3 PM) This much anticipated annual gathering attracts hundreds of motorcycles from all over New England, with favorite marques including Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Honda, BMW, Indian and Ducati interspersed with rare and antique bikes from the world over. In 2015 this event attracted more than 400 exhibitors throughout the weekend. A designated parking area on show grounds will be reserved for modern motorcycles, and all pre-1996 motorcycles are admitted free. Free kids activities, ground vehicle demonstrations and Model T rides are included in this fun family event. For more information, visit www.owlshead.org.
